The gap to the record
Getting back to $1.71 from here would take a 10.1× move — that multiple, not the percentage, is the honest way to read a drawdown. The figure above updates every hour as our price snapshot refreshes; the record itself is an editorial fact recorded from CoinGecko.
All-time low
Succinct's recorded all-time low is $0.1735, on June 7, 2026 (CoinGecko). From that low to today's price is the other end of the same story — aggregators differ on launch-era data, so we name the source we cite.

What moves Succinct's price
- Real proof demand: SP1 secures Celestia's Blobstream bridge to Ethereum, generates Polygon AggLayer's "pessimistic proofs," and underpins Mantle's transition to a ZK validity rollup (~$2.2B TVL). More paying proof requesters means more fee flow through PROVE.
- The August 5, 2026 cliff unlock: the first 25% of the combined 40% contributor-and-investor allocation unlocks at once — a large, precisely dateable supply event against a small market cap.
- Network usage trajectory: over 6 million proofs were generated in 2025, and the 2026 roadmap aims proving at non-crypto customers; growth or stall in those numbers is the fundamental signal.
- The Arbitrum partnership: a one-year exclusive (through August 2026) to bring ZK proofs to Arbitrum chains — delivery or lapse is a catalyst either way.
- ZK-narrative beta and competition: PROVE trades as zero-knowledge-infrastructure exposure, against rival zkVMs such as RISC Zero.
- Security and distribution history, stated plainly: two SP1 v3 vulnerabilities were responsibly disclosed and patched in January 2025 (pre-token, no funds lost) after which disclosure practices were publicly debated, and the August 2025 airdrop drew fairness complaints from testnet participants. The token trades ~88% below its listing-week high with under a year of price history.

About Succinct
Succinct was founded in 2022 by Uma Roy and John Guibas in San Francisco and raised $55 million across seed and Series A rounds led by Paradigm. Its core product, SP1, launched in February 2024 as an open-source zkVM that proves arbitrary Rust programs — the bet being that general-purpose proving beats hand-rolled circuits.
The Prover Network and the PROVE token went live on August 5, 2025: applications post proof requests, provers stake PROVE and compete in proof contests to win jobs, and bad proofs are slashable. Because the token is under a year old, its chart history is short and its largest supply events are still ahead — both facts a buyer should price in.
PROVE tokenomics
Fixed 1 billion supply: 29.5% team and future core contributors, 25% public allocation and incentives, 25% ecosystem and R&D, 10.5% investors, 10% foundation. Contributor and investor allocations carry a 12-month cliff (first unlock August 5, 2026) then vest in 6-month tranches over three more years. PROVE's utility is threefold: payment for proofs, staked economic security (with delegation for holders), and governance. The first airdrop distributed 5% of supply; unclaimed tokens were redirected to staking incentives.
How to buy Succinct
PROVE trades on Binance (it launched via Binance's HODLer Airdrops program), Coinbase, OKX, Upbit, and HTX. Holders who want network exposure beyond price can delegate stake to provers.
Succinct FAQ
What is a zkVM?
A zero-knowledge virtual machine runs ordinary programs — SP1 takes Rust or anything compiling to LLVM — and outputs a cryptographic proof that the execution was correct, so anyone can verify the result without re-running the computation.
Who pays for proofs on the network?
Applications that need them: rollups, bridges, and oracles submit proof requests with fees, and provers compete to fulfill them. PROVE is the payment and staking asset of that marketplace.
Can PROVE be staked?
Yes — provers stake it to compete for jobs and can be slashed for failed or fraudulent proofs, and ordinary holders can delegate stake to provers and share rewards.
Who actually uses SP1?
Named production integrations include Celestia (the SP1-Blobstream bridge), Polygon's AggLayer (pessimistic proofs), and Mantle's ZK validity-rollup transition, with further integrations across the rollup ecosystem.
When do team and investor tokens unlock?
A 12-month cliff from the August 2025 launch: one quarter of those allocations unlocks on August 5, 2026, then an eighth every six months through roughly 2029–2030. That first cliff is the largest scheduled supply event on the calendar.
