About CryptoNewsAlert

CryptoNewsAlert is an independent crypto price and news site run by one person. That is a fact, not a boast — and it shapes how the site earns trust: not by size, but by making everything checkable.

Who runs it

Snket Desai has built crypto price pages for a top-tier publisher before: as SEO consultant to The Block (August 2023–December 2024) he architected the search strategy for the launch of its crypto price pages — pre-launch indexing, schema, and entity markup — alongside the platform's technical roadmap. Before that, as Technical SEO Manager at CoinDesk (August 2021–August 2023, New York), he ran the full organic search program for the DR-90 crypto media platform, designing the system that captured and held the #1 ranking for "Bitcoin Price" and more than 14,000 other keywords, driving 15M+ monthly organic visits across a million-plus-page technical architecture.

He has spent 10+ years in technical SEO and AI-search/GEO strategy and currently leads organic growth for a Fortune 500 financial services platform. He founded CryptoNewsAlert to build the site those years argued for: crypto price pages and news assembled from licensed data and primary sources, with nothing published that a person hasn't reviewed.

Why this site exists

Most crypto price pages are ad-heavy, script-heavy, and vague about where their numbers come from. This site is built as the calm alternative: every price, chart, and claim is baked into the page itself from a licensed CoinMarketCap feed, stamped with the time it was fetched, and visible in the raw HTML — open View Source on any page and you will find the full content there, because there is no client-side JavaScript to hide it. If a number can't be traced to its source, it doesn't ship.

How it works, in plain language

Coins are curated, not comprehensive. A coin gets a page only if it clears a published quality bar — active listing, real liquidity, and enough verifiable substance to write honest research. Every pass and fail verdict is logged with evidence, and documented controversies go on the page rather than being omitted.

News comes from primary sources. Filings, official announcements, release notes, and our own licensed data — never other outlets' articles. Software helps assemble drafts; a person reviews, verifies, and decides on every single piece before it publishes. The full process is documented in the editorial & data policy.

The incentives are disclosed. Who owns the site, how it makes money (right now: it doesn't), and what the editor holds are on the disclosures page. Corrections, press, or anything else: contact.

Nothing on this site is financial or investment advice. Cryptocurrency prices are volatile; do your own research.
