About MANTRA
MANTRA began in 2020 as MANTRA DAO, a DeFi staking project, and rebuilt itself as MANTRA Chain: a Cosmos-SDK layer-1 aimed at compliant tokenization of real-world assets, with permissioned modules for regulated issuers. Its mainnet went live in October 2024, and in February 2025 it received a VASP licence from Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority — one of the first layer-1s licensed there.
