About Chainlink
Chainlink was founded by Sergey Nazarov and Steve Ellis, whose 2017 whitepaper defined the decentralized oracle problem: blockchains can't see off-chain data, so someone trustworthy has to deliver it. Networks of independent Chainlink nodes fetch, aggregate, and sign data — asset prices above all — that DeFi protocols consume every block.
